These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of Truemailor email hosting at mail.truemailor.com and related authentication features (including SMS one-time codes). By using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Truemailor provides private email mailboxes and account-security tools for authorized users. Features may include webmail, SMTP/IMAP access, authenticator apps, passkeys, and SMS one-time passcodes delivered via Twilio.
2. Eligibility & accounts
Access is limited to users authorized by the Truemailor administrator. You are responsible for keeping credentials, authenticator devices, and phone numbers secure and up to date.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use Truemailor for unlawful, abusive, or deceptive activity.
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or access controls.
- Do not use SMS codes or the messaging channel for spam or marketing.
- Do not interfere with other users’ mailboxes or the underlying infrastructure.
4. SMS authentication
If SMS two-factor authentication is enabled, you consent to receive automated text messages with one-time verification codes at the phone number on file. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods; it is used only for account security. You can opt out by replying STOP or by disabling SMS 2FA in account settings (where available).
5. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information, including mobile numbers, is described in the Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
6. Availability & changes
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical. Carrier networks and third-party providers (including Twilio) may affect SMS delivery.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Truemailor and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of mail, data, or profits arising from use of the service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, security risk, or non-use. You may stop using the service at any time and request mailbox closure from the administrator.
